My baby tooth is still intact where my left canine is located. I know that orthodontics would be my best option but all of my other teeth are fairly straight and healthy not to mention that this would be expensive. I have had consultations with a different dentists and decided that I will go with the implant option. However, I don't want to do the implant right now and was wondering if composite resin bonding would be a good temporary solution? I am 22 and the adult tooth is still intact.
Yes it is possible to do a bonding, that would improve the shape and color, although due to the transparency of the resin, the color would not be perfect. also a temporary tooth has a shorter root than permanent teeth, therefore it has a much shorter survival rate. it would be a temporary solution. the definitive solution would be a dental implant.
