Hello! I took off my braces a couple of days ago and noticed that my lateral incisors are almost just as big as my central incisors, and they're also on the same arch, making my teeth look almost fake looking like dentures My teeth are also all very squarish and on the same height and width, I feel very self conscious when I smile even tho I just took off my braces, please tell me what can be done to fix this? Can the lateral incisors be pushed back with Invisalign? Thank you
We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the invisalign result. The shape of your lateral incisors as well as the size is larger than normal. One way to solve this problem would be with veneers in order to improve the size of the incisors. If veneers are not in your plans, with invisalign it would be possible to bring your lateral incisors posteriorly so that they do not protrude when you smile, thus making the size less noticeable. At Empower Your Smile, Dr. Patricia Moezinia, a specialist in dental esthetics, will be in charge of guiding you to achieve the best treatment plan.
